In order to promote the cooperation between families and the school and help the students of YIS grow up safely, healthily and happily, the teachers, students and parents had online parents meeting on the evening of December 2nd.
In terms of the special occasion we are facing, this semester’s parents meeting is held online. What changes is the platform and what remains unchanged is the objectives of the meeting. The school plans the agenda of the parents' meeting holistically, and the homeroom teachers carefully prepare the parents' meeting according to the specific situation of each class, and contemplate the content of their speeches, and strive to achieve the best results.
At the beginning of the parents' meeting, Li Xingyuan, the Director of the Teaching Development Department, shared with parents the overall teaching arrangement of this semester, so that parents could systematically and comprehensively understand their children's learning progress in school and how to better support their children's learning in the later period.
Then, the homeroom teachers showed parents all aspects of their children's campus life in the form of videos and pictures, such as dynamic school activities, high-value academic competitions, creative classroom decoration, etc. Finally, the homeroom teachers analyzed the learning outcomes of the children in school in detail, and put forward the suggestions of working with parents to help the children grow up better.
This online parents meeting built a bridge of communication between the school and parents during the special period, narrowed the information gap between each other, and promoted the collaboration between family and schooling!
